Hello,
Our first video featuring a detailed overview of our brand New Boomerang Flash bracket. This bracket is designed to fit around the lens and rotate 90 degrees to eliminate subject shadows and make flash rotation a snap. It has clearance even with largest lenses, we have tested it with Canons 24-70 F2.8, 70-200 F2.8, 100-400, and even 500mm F4.5.
To purchase one for yourself go to www.ProMediaGear.com and let us know of your make and model. There are basically two different versions of this bracket, one for smaller camera bodies or camera bodies without optional grip and one for cameras with grip or full side cams like Canon 1D and Nikon D3.
Bracket is shown with optional equipment. Currently we offer custom arca-swiss compatible body plates for Canon 5D mk II, 7D, 1D MK III, IV 1Ds, Nikon D3, D3s, D3x, D700.
Shot with Canon 5D mk II, and HMC100u JVC, and 7d shown.
In this video i show you firstly how cokin filters are packaged and how to handle them and fix it onto your camera. I then also show you the examples of some of the issues with using filters like this (lens flare and glare) (sun spots on your image) but also how it can make images look more cool.
Photos taken with the tokina 11-16mm f2.8 and the Fuji film S5 pro camera
Technique whores:
Lenses = Sigma 10-20mm and Nikkor 50mm 1.4
1) Turn AE-Lock function on to stop the crappy banding and exposure changes throughout the image
2) Use a tripod with fluid-head (although these shots were made without, fluid-heads = real McCoy)
3) Try this http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~johnny/steadycam/
4) Roland Cadieux is probably the best d90 technician online at the moment http://www.vimeo.com/2104816
In this the second part of the Nikon D700 dslr review i look closely at its astonishing ISO performance and comapre it against the nikon d300 and then against itself in terms of how obvious it is on computer resolution. try and guess which photos were taken at iso12600 and which at 400iso
